About Salcey Forest Christmas 10K
Participants can choose between a 10 km or 1.2 km trail route through Salcey Forest near Northampton on 13 December 2026. The event takes runners along tree-lined forest paths over mixed terrain that is virtually flat but can be muddy. Those taking part are encouraged to wear seasonal fancy dress, with a prize for the best outfit.
Every entrant receives a bespoke medal and complimentary race photographs. The 10 km covers two laps of the course, while the shorter distance completes one lap. The event supports Shelter, an organisation working to prevent homelessness. Route maps and GPX files are available to download in advance.
