About Saltwell Harriers Fell Race
This 9 km fell race takes runners over trail terrain in the Stanhope area of County Durham, with approximately 300 metres of climbing. The race takes place on 6 July 2027, starting from Stanhope Community Centre and following the B6278 northwards. It's organised by Saltwell Harriers with UK Athletics insurance and carries a BS category permit.
The event is open to competitors aged 18 and over, with team racing available for both men and women (three runners per team). Entry is available on the day only. Public toilets can be found in Stanhope village. The current course records stand at 38:46 for men and 47:43 for women.
