About Samaritans Way Ultra
The Samaritans Way Ultra follows an off-road trail route across the Teesside landscape, with distances of 40 km and 60 km on offer. Taking place on 5 June 2027 and based at Guisborough Rugby Club, the event runs the Official Samaritans Way route, which has been updated from the 2025 courses. Participants can enter as individuals or as part of a relay team.
The event is organised by U Prevail Events in partnership with Teesside Samaritans, with all profits donated directly to the charity. Support along the route includes fully stocked checkpoints, marshals, medical cover, and finishers' medals, event t-shirts, and food and drink at the finish. A permit is held with the Association of Running Clubs.
