About SAS Endurance
Taking place across 1–2 October 2027, SAS Endurance is a navigational trail event held at Talybont-on-Usk in Powys. Organised by The S.F. Experience, it follows the final-stage route used in UKSF Test Week and is offered in two distances: 32 km (finishing at Cray Reservoir) and the full 64 km course.
Navigation is central to the event. Participants without a guided group must demonstrate competence by completing the organiser's land navigation weekend, an equivalent one-to-one course, or by providing evidence of navigation experience. Guided groups are led by event leadership and do not require individual navigation credentials. The event emphasises long-distance load carriage, with course support and safety measures including marshalled checkpoints, water stations, and medic and mountain safety teams throughout.
