About Saturn Running - Northampton
Set around the Northampton Washlands, Saturn Running's Northampton event takes place on 9 January 2027 as a seven-hour trail-based time challenge. Participants can complete as many laps as they wish around the well-maintained paths, working towards distances including 5 km, 10 km, half-marathon, 13.1-mile, marathon, and 50 km achievements. The event operates under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the Trail Running Association.
Runners completing at least 3 km receive a themed medal, with distance pins awarded for half-marathon, 13.1-mile, marathon and 50 km milestones. Support is available throughout the day with aid and drinks tables at the start and finish of each lap, offering both sweet and savoury snacks along with vegan options. A goody bag is provided to all finishers. Toilets are available at the venue, though parking on-site is limited and nearby spaces may be charged.
