About Scorton 10k and 15k Trail Run
Trail running through rural Lancashire comes to the fore at Scorton Trail, an off-road event taking place on 9 May 2027 near Preston. Runners tackle either 10 km or 15 km routes that wind through rolling countryside, woodland trails, farm tracks and Bowland landscapes. The minimum age for entry is 17 years.
The event features signed routes with water stations on both distances, full medical cover and aid stations throughout. Finishers receive a medal and tech t-shirt, with chip timing used for results. Participants must collect their bib number and timing tag in person on the day at Event HQ, where facilities include check-in desks, toilets, baggage drop and car key storage. Parking is available at the headquarters, and route maps along with further details are sent to registered runners a week or so before the event.
