About Scrimshire's Scramble
Scrimshire's Scramble returns for its third year on 28 February 2027, a 10 km trail run based at North Leverton Windmill in East Retford, Nottinghamshire. The off-road course is almost entirely on waymarked trails, starting and finishing at the windmill, with views across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Lincolnshire.
The event welcomes runners aged 16 and above and is organised as a community-led venture with an inclusive atmosphere. Finishers receive a loot bag containing freshly milled flour from the windmill and local honey. All entry fees are donated to the North Leverton Windmill Trust, which hosts the event.
