About Seaside Race 6
Seaside Race 6 is the final event in Wirral Seaside Runs' popular monthly series, attracting both club runners and newcomers across Merseyside. Taking place on 26 August 2026, this 5km road race starts near Leasowe Lighthouse in Moreton and follows the sea embankment to finish at Harrison Drive by the Lifeguard Station. The flat, fast course provides a reliable snapshot of running fitness.
Race numbers are available from the registration desk at Leasowe Lighthouse from 5.45 p.m. on the day. Most runners return to the start car park after finishing, though transport arrangements may be needed from the finish point. This series has been a mainstay of the local running calendar for three decades.
