About Serpent Trail Ultra Run
The Serpent Trail Ultra Run covers 30 miles of trail running through Surrey on 29 November 2026, starting and finishing in Haslemere. The route traverses sections of the Serpent Trail and Sussex Border Path, taking in hills, ancient woodlands, fields, heathland and valleys, with the Temple of the Winds lookout offering views across the South Downs.
This is a non-competitive event designed as an introduction to ultra running. An experienced ultra runner leads the group throughout, providing support and guidance, with an emphasis on camaraderie rather than racing. Participants receive a kit list in advance and can enjoy a complimentary alcohol-free beer after finishing.
