About Serpent Trail
A 100 km trail run through the South Downs National Park, the Serpent Trail takes runners across lowland heath, ancient woodland, coppices, greensand hills, river meanders and farmland on 3 July 2027. The event is based at Petersfield Rugby Club in Hampshire, with permanent trail markings and race signage to guide the way.
Walkers are welcome alongside runners. Coach transport to the race start is provided as part of entry, and camping is available on the Friday and Saturday nights before the event. Food and a licensed bar operate at the venue, with a kids race also taking place on the Friday evening.
