About Serpentine Last Friday of the Month 5K August
A flat two-lap 5K through Hyde Park, this monthly race takes runners around one of London's most popular running destinations. The accurately measured course starts and finishes at the Boat House on the northern side of the Serpentine lake, offering a straightforward route through the parkland.
Organised by Serpentine Running and Triathlon Club under UK Athletics rules, the event runs on the last Friday of each month and welcomes runners of all abilities. The August edition takes place on 28 August 2026, delivered by club volunteers in the heart of the capital.
