The 26 km trail route climbs steeply onto the moor from Hebden Bridge town centre before settling into a more gentle section that passes Stoodley Pike. The course takes in sandy and rocky trails, stone slabs and reservoirs, with a turnaround at the White House pub car park before retracing the same path back to the finish in town.
Taking place on 17 July 2027, this trail metric marathon is waymarked with flags and includes a tail runner and halfway checkpoint. Marshalls are stationed along the route, with a hydration station at the turnaround providing water and squash. Registration happens at The Excited Goat Coffee Lounge on Crown Street. Parking in Hebden Bridge can be tight at weekends, though the town's train station is roughly a 10 minute walk away and bus stops are available on New Road. A secure baggage store is available for participants' belongings.
