About Shiver Me Timbers 8 Mile Trail
Shiver Me Timbers is an eight mile trail race along the Coast Path in Torbay, taking place on 9 May 2027. Starting from Goodrington Bay, the route winds through coastal trails and woodland, crossing bays and coves before looping back to the finish at Youngs Park.
The event incorporates a pirate-themed element where runners search for the Pirate King during the race and carry a found bribe to the finish. There is one aid station visited twice on the course, at approximately miles two and six, with an official cut-off time of three hours. Entry is restricted to participants aged 18 and over.
