About Shotley 24
Shotley 24 takes place over 17-18 July 2027 at Brooke Lawrance House on the Shotley peninsula in Suffolk. This 24-hour trail running event invites solo runners, pairs, or teams of up to six to complete laps of a fully marked 4.3-mile coastal route. The circuit combines farm track, forest path, country lanes, riverbank and tarmac footpath around the Shotley area.
Runners must be aged 18 or older. Camping and campervanning at race headquarters are included as part of entry, alongside chip timing, medical cover, checkpointed food and drink at the end of each lap, event parking, toilets and an indoor space with kitchen facilities and complimentary tea and coffee. The weekend also features an optional Core & More Pilates warm-up session and complimentary massages.
The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules.
