About Shrewsbury 50K
Shrewsbury 50K is a new 50 km ultra running event that forms part of the Shropshire Series, taking place on 19 September 2026. The trail route runs from Church Stretton to Shrewsbury in reverse of the Church Stretton 50K, beginning with the Burway climb before continuing through Shropshire countryside toward the finish at The Quarry Park.
The course is officially measured and includes five nutrition stations along the route. Professional chip timing is in place, and finishers receive free photo downloads from the event. Organised by Run The Distance, this ultra offers runners the chance to link their completion with the Church Stretton 50K to work toward a special combined medal.
