About Shrewsbury Severn Bridges 10K
Shropshire's River Severn winds through Shrewsbury, and this 10K road race uses that natural feature to shape its course. Starting and finishing in The Quarry Park beside the water, runners loop the park before heading out along the riverside and returning across a series of bridges that give the event its distinctive character.
Organised by Shropshire Shufflers as a not for profit event, the Severn Bridges 10K welcomes runners of all abilities and operates with a 12:30pm cut off. The race is England Athletics affiliated, and all finishers receive a medal. The event takes place on 6 September 2026.
