About Silsoe Stride 10K, 5K & Kids Fun Run
Wrest Park in Silsoe provides the setting for this trail running event on 27 June 2027, with races winding through the estate grounds, past Burton Farm and into the surrounding countryside on farm tracks. Runners can choose between a 5 km or 10 km route, both off-road with multi-terrain surfaces including longer grass and hills. The longer distance takes in woodland sections where older concrete wartime tracks feature.
The Sports pavilion at Wrest Park serves as Race HQ, with refreshments, a BBQ, bag drop and toilets available. The event is chip timed with marshals and first aid cover in place throughout. Colour-coded waymarks match race numbers, and runners must follow marshal instructions when crossing cattle grids and other points on the course. Dogs are welcome on the playing field if kept on a lead, though they cannot join runners on the farm tracks or race route itself.
