About Silver Sands Trail Race
A 4.5 mile trail race taking in the Fife Coastal Path, the Silver Sands Trail Race welcomes runners of all abilities on 4 October 2026. Based at the Beach Ranger's Office in Aberdour, the out and back route follows predominantly good quality trail with some tarmac sections, offering fairly flat running with gentle undulations as it winds through woodland before revealing views across the Fife coastline.
The course is designed to be accessible to novice runners while still providing an enjoyable challenge for more experienced competitors. The event is held under ARC rules and organised with support from Fife Coast and Countryside Trust.
