About Six Dales Circuit
On 7 November 2026, the Six Dales Circuit takes runners on a 25-mile trail route through Derbyshire's High Peak landscape. Starting from Biggin Village Hall near Hartington, the circular course winds through Biggin Dale, Wolfscote Dale, Beresford Dale and Lathkill Dale, with checkpoints at Hartington, Monyash and Middleton. Entrants have a 10-hour time limit to complete the route.
Organised by the Long Distance Walkers Association's Staffordshire group, the event provides a route description, snacks and drinks at each checkpoint, and a light meal at the finish. Participants should bring waterproofs, compass, whistle, torch and map OL24. Dogs are welcome if kept on short leads, though they cannot enter any halls.
