About Skedaddle Speyside 10K
This 10K trail race in Moray follows a point-to-point route from Archiestown to Cardhu Distillery, taking in forest tracks and undulating terrain through Speyside. Starting in Archiestown Village Square, runners climb into Elchies Woods on wide forest paths before the route becomes narrower and muddier as it winds through increasingly hilly ground. A fast descent along Mannoch Road leads towards Cardhu Reservoir with views across Speyside towards the Cairngorms, finishing at the distillery.
Taking place on 11 October 2026, the race is organised by Skedaddle North and forms part of the wider Speyside Series alongside the Archiestown 5K, Dufftown 5 Mile and Speyside Windfarm Challenge Trail Half Marathon, with results contributing to an overall series standings. The course is well marked and staffed with volunteer marshals, a sweeper runner and first aid cover. Water is available around halfway and at the finish, while a shuttle bus connects the start and finish points. All finishers receive a memento.
