This fell race on Skyrrid View suits runners who enjoy sustained climbing and ridge running in a winter setting. Taking place on 19 December 2026, the 5.7 km course includes 450 metres of ascent and starts from a field near the Skirrid Inn in Llanvihangel Crucorny. From open agricultural land, the route climbs through fields before reaching the fellside, then follows the ridge to the summit before descending via the north west ridge back to the finish.
The terrain is trail throughout, crossing private land that should be treated with care. December weather conditions mean waterproofs may be needed. A kit dump is provided at the start, and competitors must be over 16 years old.
