About Skye Bridge 10K
The Skye Bridge 10K takes runners across one of Scotland's most iconic landmarks as part of the Kyleakin Gala celebrations. Organised by the Kyleakin Gala Committee and held under UK Athletics Rules, the 10 km road race starts and finishes in Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye, with the route crossing the Skye Bridge to Kyle of Lochalsh before returning via the same route.
The out-and-back course offers coastal views and vistas across Loch Alsh, with the distinctive experience of running over the bridge that connects Skye to the Scottish mainland. The event takes place on 15 August 2026 and is supported by marshals and organised race day support for runners of all abilities.
