About Skyline Scotland
The Highlands host Skyline Scotland, a multi-distance mountain and trail running event taking place from 18 to 20 September 2026 based at Pinemarten Coffee Shop. Seven races cater to different appetites: a 5 km option for those new to trail running, a 22 km skyrunning route, distances of 29 km and 50 km for those seeking substantial challenges, a 50-mile ultra, and two longer distances at 100 miles and 106 km.
The event attracts participants from across the globe to tackle road and trail terrain in the Lochaber region. Alongside the racing, the weekend features live online tracking, a partner expo, local food and drink traders, and a prize-giving ceremony. The Ben Nevis Skyline course qualifies as part of the Golden Trail World Series.
