About Slate Trail Ultra
The Slate Trail Ultra takes runners into Snowdonia's challenging terrain across the weekend of 14–15 November 2026. Based at Porth Penrhyn near Bangor, the event offers two trail running options: an 80 km route with approximately 2,300 m of elevation gain, or a longer 147 km course covering the complete Slate Trail with around 3,900 m of climbing.
Both routes are marked and include aid station support, with cut-off times of 24 hours for the shorter distance and 36 hours for the full trail. The 80 km features four aid stations, whilst the 147 km route includes eight aid stations and a drop bag service. UTMB points are available for both distances.
