About SOX 10km
The SOX 10km takes runners across a multi-terrain course in South Oxfordshire on 13 September 2026, starting from Ipsden Cricket Club near Wallingford. The route blends trails, woodlands, fields and local roads, with roughly 60% off-road. Participants will encounter 90 meters of elevation gain and will pass through some usually private terrain as part of the loop.
Part of the Ales and Trails series and supported by SOX Brewery, this is a cupless race with two water refill stations positioned along the way. The event welcomes runners aged 16 and over, with a two-hour cut-off time. Finishers receive a medal and pint cup, and the finish line includes a free drink choice of SOX Brewery beer or a non-alcoholic option. Free car parking, toilets, a bag drop and street food vendors are available on site.
