About Spring Challenge
On 10 April 2027, Running Events Devon hosts the Spring Challenge, a seven hour timed event at Alladin's Cave in East Devon. Using a flexible start window system, runners can begin at any point during the day but must complete their attempt by the fixed finish deadline.
The course follows an old disused train line on tarmac, with each lap measuring 5.3 km on an out and back route. Participants attempt as many laps as possible within the seven hour window. The route is undulating throughout. The event accommodates a maximum of 75 entrants and is open to runners aged 18 and over.
