About Steeple Barton Chase
The Steeple Barton Chase takes place annually in West Oxfordshire, nestled between Oxford and Banbury. On 13 September 2026, runners will tackle trail-based courses of 5 km and 10 km across undulating terrain at Middle Barton Primary School. The event combines road and off-road running through the local area.
Alongside the main races, a Family Fun Run offers a more relaxed option, with participants able to complete laps at their own pace on foot or by walking. On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and free parking. Proceeds from the event support the maintenance of Steeple Barton Church.
