The Swinsty & Fewston Lakeside Dash takes place on 7 November 2026 around the reservoirs near Otley in North Yorkshire. Runners can choose between a 6.7-mile or 20-mile trail route, both following woodland paths and off-road tracks with undulating terrain around Fewston and Swinsty Reservoirs. The course is fully marshalled and signed throughout.
Well-maintained trail paths make up the terrain, and runners should wear road shoes for this event. The route includes some unmarshalled road crossings. Feed and drink stations are positioned at roughly three-mile intervals. The event is cup-less, so participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Bone-conducting headphones or single-ear in-ear use are permitted; over-ear headphones are not allowed. Public toilets are available at the car park, where pay-and-display parking is in operation.
