About Take the Fell
Trail runners can choose between two measured distances at Take the Fell, held at Beacon Fell Country Park near Preston on 7 March 2027. The 10 km and 20 km routes are fully signed and take place on trail terrain across the fell.
Both distances use chip timing, and finishers receive medals. Route maps are sent to entrants about a week before the event. Food and drink, including pie and hot drinks, are available on site. There is a three hour cut off for the event.
