About Takeley 10K
On 6 September 2026, runners head to Takeley in Essex for a 10K trail race based at the Silver Jubilee Hall. The route follows a varied course that starts along an old disused railway track before heading into the countryside surrounding the village, mixing different surfaces as it winds through the rural landscape before returning to the hall for the finish.
Established in 2010, the event has become a fixture in the local community and continues to support the village and its facilities. A 1 mile children's and family fun run runs alongside the main race, making it a inclusive event for the whole community.
