About The Adder Dash
Trail runners will find plenty to enjoy in this 13 km run through the South Downs near Lewes on 19 September 2026. The Adder Dash takes in the rolling hills and woodland typical of the area, following paths across downs and through trees.
Based at The Old Racecourse in Lewes, the event is organised by Runwold with proceeds going to South Downs Conservation and the Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust. The route passes through habitat where the UK's only native venomous snake, the adder, can be found among chalk grassland and scrub.
