About The Bullock Smithy Ultra
The Bullock Smithy Hike / Ultra 56 welcomes both hikers and runners to tackle a 56-mile circular trail route. Organised by 3rd Hazel Grove Scout Group, the event takes place over the first full weekend in September, departing and returning to Hazel Grove in the heart of Greater Manchester.
Participants complete the full loop across trail terrain at their own pace, whether on foot or at a running effort. The event has a history of past editions, with records and results available for those interested in what previous participants have achieved.
