About The Cheshire 100 Ultra Run
The Cheshire 100 Ultra Run is a 100-mile trail ultramarathon following the Cheshire Canal Ring route, starting from Northwich in Cheshire West and Chester. Taking place over 5-6 September 2026, the event is organised by New Era Community Boxing, a community interest company supporting young people in the area since 2011.
The race welcomes runners aged 20 and over with previous marathon experience; no formal ultramarathon qualification is required. Participants must complete the route within 36 hours, with checkpoints provided along the way. The organisers supply detailed maps and navigation guidance, and support both solo runners and those arranging crew or buddy support. Number collection takes place on the day at the start venue on Queen Street in Northwich.
