Runners keen on combining festive running with a charitable cause will find this 10 km trail event across the Rathfinny Wine Estate particularly appealing. Taking place on 28 December, the race follows two laps of 5 km through vineyard terrain on grass, chalky and flint trails, with undulating sections throughout.
The event is capped at 75 places and welcomes participants aged 16 and over. The course winds through the Alfriston estate, starting and finishing at Alfriston Market Cross. Water will be available at the start and finish, though runners should bring their own cups as none are provided. Portable toilets are located near the car park, and parking is available near the Cellar Door and Tasting Room. A portion of each entry supports the WOLO Foundation.
