Bere Wood on the Charborough Estate in Dorset hosts this 21 km trail race through roughly 600 acres of dense woodland. Taking place on 29 November 2026, the route navigates raw and varied terrain including woodland tracks, uneven ground, rooted sections, and seasonal mud. The course was developed in collaboration with the estate forester and runs entirely on private woodland with no road crossings or gates.
The marked trail features one aid station on the loop, with medical support available throughout. Runners are required to carry a mobile phone and reusable cup, and should bring a water supply, foil blanket, extra warm layer, snacks, gloves, and wear trail shoes suited to the conditions. Race HQ at the Royal Oak Inn provides toilets, refreshments, first aid and gathering space before and after the event. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
