About The Drop Leeds
The Drop Leeds is an event designed for runners who relish adventure and are comfortable navigating by instinct alone. Participants are transported by bus to an undisclosed location outside the city and must find their own way back on foot, without phones, watches or maps. Three distances are available: 6, 10 or 15 miles as the crow flies, though the actual route covered will be considerably longer depending on the choices made during the run.
Entirely self-navigated across West Yorkshire's trail and urban landscape with no markers or course guidance, this is a demanding navigation challenge that rewards route-finding skills and adaptability. The unpredictability of the terrain and the need to rely on personal judgement make every runner's experience unique.
