About The Farnham Pilgrim Marathon
The trail running courses at The Farnham Pilgrim Marathon trace sections of the Pilgrims Way and the North Downs Way, taking runners through the Surrey countryside past five churches, an abbey, manor houses, ponds, rivers, mills and vineyards. The half marathon covers 13.1 miles while the full marathon extends to 26.2 miles, with the latter passing St Martha's Church at the midpoint. Both routes wind through the landscape surrounding Seale and Sands.
Taking place on 13 September 2026, the event is organised by The Rotary Club of Farnham Weyside and Farnham Town Running Club with proceeds going to local charities. The start and finish are based at Myrtle's Courtyard on Hampton Estate, where there is free on-site parking and an event village with food and drink. Water stations and marshals support runners along the routes, and races are chip timed.
