About The Hampshire Hoppit
The Hampshire Hoppit takes runners across trail terrain in the Hampshire and Berkshire borderlands on 13 June 2027, with three single-lap options: a 10 kilometre route, a half marathon and a full marathon. All three races start and finish at Watership Down and reach some of Hampshire's highest points, offering panoramic views across the landscape.
The 10K follows footpaths and trails predominantly around Watership Down itself. The longer distances incorporate sections of Watership Down, The Wayfarers Walk and The Harrow Way, with mostly off-road wide footpaths and occasional quiet road sections. Race facilities include water and feed stations, professionally managed road crossings and free parking. Chip timing is in place, with professionally managed road crossings and a race HQ in a field with beverages and services for participants.
