About The Hardmoors 110
Taking place over a single June weekend in 2027, The Hardmoors 110 returns to its original direction for its 20th edition, running from Helmsley to Filey across approximately 111 miles of trail. The route traverses the Cleveland Way National Trail through the North York Moors before reaching the coast at Saltburn, then continuing past Runswick Bay, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough to finish at Filey. Runners face around 5,000 metres of cumulative ascent and must complete the course within 36 hours.
Staffed checkpoints throughout the route provide water and food support, with hot drinks and drop-bag facilities at Kildale (around 42 miles) and Ravenscar (around 88 miles). Support runners are permitted from Gribdale Gate onwards, while relay teams of two to four runners can also take part with vehicle back-up. A mandatory tracker is required for online location monitoring, and compulsory kit checks apply.
