About The Harvathon
The Harvathon welcomes runners and walkers of all paces to a lapped trail event in North Hertfordshire on 13 September 2026. Taking place over a seven-hour window, participants choose how many circuits of the roughly 5 km loop they complete, making the day flexible for different fitness levels and ambitions. The route winds through countryside around Hitchin on mixed terrain—trail, grass and woodland—with road sections and hills including one notably steep stretch.
The event base at Hiltop Cottages provides an event village atmosphere with toilets, an aid station, parking and food and coffee available to buy. There's entertainment for families and spectators on site. A virtual option is also available, alongside a Mini Mile for children. Run Strong organises the event, with proceeds supporting charity.
