About The Loop - South Devon
South Devon's coastline and countryside form the backdrop for The Loop, a 20-mile trail race based at Broadsands Beach in Torbay. The route ventures inland through Churston, Galmpton and Greenway, crossing woodland and passing Long Wood and Hoodown Wood before reaching the River Dart at Kingswear. From there, runners follow the South West Coast Path, taking in woodland cliff paths, coves and beaches through hilly terrain en route to Brixham Harbour before returning to the finish at Broadsands.
