About The Maverick Brighton Trail Marathon
The Maverick Brighton Trail Marathon takes runners on a 26.2-mile trail route across the South Downs on 4 April 2027. Starting from Stanmer Park in Brighton, the course winds through woodland sections, chalk ridgelines and valley tracks before joining the Brighton Marathon route for its final stretch to the finish at Hove Lawns.
Participants will navigate waymarked trails with support from fully stocked outposts along the way. The event is chip timed, and finishers receive a metal medal. Official photography is available throughout the race, with a GPX file of the route provided in advance. Falmer train station is approximately a ten-minute walk from the start area, and pay and display parking is available nearby.
