About The North Wales Pilgrim Trail Marathon
The North Wales Pilgrims Trail follows the historic pilgrimage route across the Llŷn Peninsula, a point-to-point trail marathon starting near Pistyll Chapel in Nefyn on 12 June 2027 and finishing in Aberdaron. The 26.2-mile route traces the North Wales Pilgrims Way, a traditional path with centuries of history behind it.
Black Sheep Events organises the marathon, offering event support and checkpoints throughout the route for runners and walkers alike. The event qualifies for ITRA points and forms part of the Black Sheep Triple Crown medal series.
