About The Northumberlandia 10k Headtorch Trail Race
A night-time 10 km trail race around the distinctive Northumberlandia landform in Cramlington, this event takes runners up and over the sculptural landscape and through the surrounding countryside. The course mixes hills with fast stone paths, soft trails and forest tracks, so a headtorch is essential equipment.
The race takes place on Saturday 27 February 2027 and starts from Cramlington Hillcrest School. Runners must be at least 18 years old. A water station is positioned at mile 4. After finishing, participants can enjoy the event village with its café and stalls, with the park remaining open until 21:00. Parking and toilet facilities are available on site.
