A 48-mile point-to-point ultra marathon following the Peddars Way, an ancient Pre-Roman trading route through Suffolk and Norfolk. Starting at Knettishall Heath Nature Reserve, the course travels north to finish at Holme-next-the-Sea on the Norfolk Coast. The predominantly flat terrain mixes straight tracks, bridleways, footpaths and quiet country roads, all marked with National Trail signage.

Taking place in February, conditions can be challenging. Some early boardwalk sections may be slippery or underwater, with potential wet-weather diversions depending on local conditions. Three intermediate checkpoints provide support along the route, with indoor facilities and hot food available at specific points including Castle Acre and the finish. This is a cupless event, so runners must carry their own reusable drinking vessels. Mandatory kit includes waterproof clothing with taped seams, a headtorch and at least one litre of water capacity. GPS trackers are issued to all participants for online progress monitoring, and a shuttle bus service is available from the finish to the start line.
