Runners after a festive challenge with flexibility will find plenty to enjoy in this December timed event at Dare Valley Country Park. The Snow Globe Gallop Bobble Hat Run operates on a 7-hour format, allowing participants to tackle as many or as few laps as they choose. Each lap covers 7 km, with turnaround points at 3 km and 5 km built into the route, making it easy to step off at any of the standard race distances—from a 3 km starter run through to a 50 km ultra.
Trail running through the country park, participants can plot their own course within the time limit. A fuel table operates at the start and finish of each lap, and finishers receive a medal and goody bag, with special pins awarded for half marathon distances and longer.
