About The Three River Challenge
Established within the local running calendar, the Three River Challenge takes participants on a 15 mile circular route through the Lincolnshire Fens. Starting from South Kyme Coronation Hall on 1 November 2026, the event follows the rivers Slea, Skirth and Witham, combining riverbank trails with road sections across the fenland landscape.
The route covers approximately 14.7 miles of mixed terrain, including rough ground that adds to the challenge. Runners begin at 10am, with earlier starts offered for walkers and slower runners. Drinks stations are positioned at roughly 4, 8 and 11 miles, and marshalled decision points guide participants throughout the course.
