About The Ultra Loop Lyme Park
An eight-hour loop challenge at Lyme Park sees runners tackle as many circuits as they can manage within the time limit. The 5.6 km trail-based route loops through the Cheshire estate, taking in woodland sections through Crow Wood and Elmshurst Wood, climbing to The Cage and passing Lyme Hall, with 118 m of elevation gain per lap. Walkers and dog walkers may also be using the course.
Participants can enter individually or as part of a relay team of up to four people. An aid station at the start and finish area supplies water, fruit, snacks and electrolytes throughout the event. Results are based on the number of complete laps finished within the eight-hour window. The event takes place on 27 June 2027 at Lyme Park in Disley.
