About The Wild Wolf of Radnor
The Wild Wolf of Radnor returns for its second year, a 10-mile trail race in the heart of Radnor Forest in Mid Wales. Held on 23 August 2026, the event is run in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit in Hereford.
The route combines forestry roads, open moorland and single-track terrain as it undulates through the landscape. Runners start with a gentle downhill before tackling the first climb, then push on to Black Mixen at 2,130 feet, where views stretch across to the Brecon Beacons, Cadair Idris and the Long Mynd. After descending through forest, one final ascent precedes a fast drop to the finish. The course is fully marked, with water stations positioned along the way.
