About The Woods
Tehidy Wood near Illogan is host to The Woods, a trail race set among woodland terrain described as steeped in history, myth and legend. Taking place on 11 September 2027, the event returns for its third year with a 4 mile circular loop that is hilly and technical, marked with Bys Vyken arrows and sawdust to guide runners through the natural entanglements of the woodland.
Participants select from four timed challenges of varying distances. The course starts all runners together on the same loop. Vendor and refreshment stalls will be available on the day, and the organiser advises plenty of parking with an encouragement to consider car sharing.
